Day 5Drive to Maubisse
Return to Dili and drive south into the highlands (3 hours). The winding mountain road passes through dramatic scenery. Arrive at Maubisse, a cool mountain town at 1,400m surrounded by coffee plantations.

Day 6Coffee Country
Visit an organic coffee plantation to see the full farm-to-cup process. Hike to nearby waterfalls through cloud forest. The pousada (guesthouse) in Maubisse is a restored Portuguese-era building with sweeping mountain views.

Morning market visit in Maubisse for local produce and handicrafts. Drive back to Dili via Aileu, stopping for views along the way. Afternoon flight.
