Aileu Coffee Festival 2026

Aileu's highland coffee country celebrates the harvest with a day devoted to its prized Arabica. The programme being planned includes a 10K run around Seloi Lake, the Aileu Coffee Quality Competition and a barista competition spotlighting the municipality's growers and roasters, a community tree-seedling planting, market stalls of local produce and food vendors, and live music performances. Aileu sits about an hour south of Dili on the road into the central mountains, making the festival an easy day trip during the September coffee season.
