it was a unique trip customised to our needs. we saw unspoilt nature at it's best. the community visits made for an authentic connection with the locals. the guide was thoughtful and caring, living up to their motto of travel with a heart.

Staying at the farm was a truly enlightening experience, allowing us to retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. The rooms and bathrooms were exceptionally clean and well-kept. Some memorable highlights included stargazing every night, visiting and feeding young lambs milk, as well as fresh and nutritious home-cooked meals! We also participated in some activities like an art therapy session which was both soothing to the mind but also deeply insightful about one's inner state of mind. Additionally, we had the chance to visit several schools in both the village and the city, which provided us with a richer understanding of life in Timor Leste. Overall, this is definitely a place I would be delighted to return to in the future!

An unforgettable journey through Timor-Leste! I joined a 10-day trip to East Timor in April, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. We drove long hours across beautiful landscapes, including a memorable visit to a small paradise island on the far eastern end, with crystal-clear waters and untouched beauty. Throughout the journey, we stayed in several lovely hotels, each with its own local charm and warm hospitality. What I loved most was exploring the country’s authentic culture and simple lifestyle — it really reminded me of Singapore’s kampung days in the 1970s. A big thank-you to Veon from Sojourn East Timor for organizing such a well-planned and meaningful trip. East Timor is truly a hidden gem, and this tour gave me a glimpse of its natural beauty and kind-hearted people. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an off-the-beaten-path adventure! 🌿🌊

Deny is an excellent driver and great company throughout the trip. Veon pays close attention to every detail, especially when it comes to accommodation, and has a deep appreciation for the beauty of nature. The clean and comfortable farm stay, together with the delicious meals, made the experience even more memorable. Our local guide arranged by Sojourn Timor-Leste for the trip to Mt. Ramelau was very experienced — even after a landslide, he was able to find an alternative route to the summit. Timor is truly a beautiful place, from the crystal-clear waters of Jaco to the freshly caught fish and the stunning sea of clouds at Mt. Ramelau. Thank you, Veon and Deny, for making the trip so fun, relaxing, enjoyable, and worry-free!
