I did a 1 day tour to see the countryside. I wanted to try some local foods and coffee. My driver was Luis and he was great. Was able to tell me a lot about the area and the history. They arranged pick up and drop off at the hotel. Highly recommend to get outside of Dili and see all that Timor Leste has to offer.

We did a 14 day tour from Timor-Leste to West-Timor. Started in Dìli, Ataúro, Mount Ramelau, Suai, Samé, Loihuno, Tutuàla, Jaco Island, Baucau, Liquica, Balibó, Atambua, Soé, Kupang. In Timor-Leste our guide and driver Serafim really went out of his way to give us the best experience. He was also a great travelling companion, translated a lot of stories of local Timorese and told us a lot about the country by his own experience. We fell in love with the beautiful nature and had a great time with the people. What really stood out in the tour that we also saw the difficult history of Timor-Leste (colonial times, WO II and Indonesian time). This gave the full picture. Our time in West-Timor was also very nice, beautiful nature and very interestering to learn more about the culture. The 4x4 drive car in Timor-Leste was necessary and very comfortable. Serafim is a good driver. In addition, accommodations are in line with booking, can be basic in more rural areas, but this was expected. Thank you Manny Timor Tours for organizing this one-of-a-kind experience!

What a great experience with Afonso. He was so kind, knowledgeable, and adapted to our needs and interest well. We had a very short stay in Dilli but we managed to hit the museum, Jesus Rei, the mall, and Afonso helped arrange a donation at a convent orphanage for disabled children. The car was solid and Afonso was always a bit early waiting for us calmly. The setup and communication was excellent and everything went off without an issue. Thank you!

3 Puerto Ricans girls ready to explore the undiscovered. We came to Timor Leste without any expectations and left in love with this young country. We did a 4 day tour including a hike to Mt Remalau. Everything was arranged for us. Highly recommend 💯 this company to tour Timor Leste. Obrigado

We did a four day tour booked through gateway travel with Manny Timor Tours. Everything was arranged for us but they were very flexible with what we wanted to do- a mix between some beach/ snorkelling time and also some historical information/ museums and markets. They even got up early for us one morning to do a sunrise walk up Cristo Rei at our request. The highlight of the trip was a day tour to Balibo with lunch at the forte and a walking tour of the local village. The roads there were a bit rough in places but felt very safe in a 4WD with Lito as our experienced local driver. On an Atauro island day trip a local guide, Erni, came with us to help find snorkelling gear/ lunch/ transport on the island itself. Could not recommend Manny Tours more highly as a local business who are very knowledgeable about Timorese history and culture, and how to get the most out of your time there.
